Shortly after being online during the 2024 Presidential campaign and hearing chatter on political sites about the evil, discriminatory Christians in the GOP, I started this painting of Christ on the cross  without planning, and was taken aback by what I made  The look of Christ’s suffering bothered me, and must have invaded my subconscious mind, as it appeared even in dreams. I took the painting down, added the sacred heart and then also painted the resurrection. The message is that the suffering and love of Christ is meant for all.  Somehow that cleared by mind.
